Earrings' Description          Art Deco 1920-1930 dangle earrings.  Platinum and white gold.  The center diamond sections are hand made Platinum with nice white diamonds, G to H, VS-SI.  At the top is a white gold hand made engraved side bezel set with very bright transitional cut diamonds, G to H, VS2 to SI1.  At the bottom are beautiful genuine bright blue sapphire cabochons.  Lively and translucent with a hint of chatoyancy in 14k white gold nicely detailed galleries.  There are two hinges for motion.  The first is between the top diamond and the center section.  The second is between the three larger diamonds above the sapphire and the center section.  Most likely these were made Circa 1930-1940 from original 1920’s center Platinum section and the beautiful addition of the diamond top and sapphire bottom.  Excellent condition and workmanship and stone.  These are worth a trip from anywhere to see.  2 round diamonds approx. total weight .80cts, G, SI1.  12 round diamonds approx. total weight .50cts, G, SI1.  20 round diamonds approx. total weight .20cts, G, SI1 – SI2.  2 oval cabochon sapphires approx. total weight 10.0cts.  Tested:  Platinum 14k & white gold.  9.9 grams.  1 7/16 x 7/16 inch.                      We know it is scary out there.
