Estate Platinum 14k Art Deco Diamond Pendant Art Deco Platinum Diamond Onyx Floating Diamond Pendant Start Price USD 12,500.00 Current Price USD 12,500.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Wednesday, November 19, 2008 End Time Wednesday, November 26, 2008 Location Stamford, CT See more about 'Estate Platinum 14k Art Deco Diamond Pendant ' Description This is one of Peter’s favorite pieces.  The center section is 1920’s beautifully styled Art Deco pendant.  It has a Platinum top bead set with old cut diamonds and faceted calibre cut black Onyx.  The rest of the case is 14k white gold with hand engraved sides and back.  The pendant was designed and made in the Peter Suchy Workshop from an original old pendant watch.  The case has been sealed shut and a tube put through at the top for a chain.  It has a new crystal.  Sealed inside are 8.5 carats of mixed cut diamonds including emerald cut, tapered baguette, old European, round and modern cut stones.  The average color is G-J.  Most of the diamonds are VS-SI.  A few are imperfect.  The diamonds fill most of the inside of the case leaving them enough room to move around for interest and character.            There are enough larger diamonds in emerald cut baguette and round to complete a felling of Art Deco substance and character.  Peter is so pleased with the look and feeling created by this pendant that you can watch for us to do others as we find cased that are suitable.  The chain on this is a brand new sturdy Platinum chain.  The case is in excellent condition.  The diamond and Platinum top are all original as are the Onyx baguettes.  There is a slight chip that is barely noticeable in the lower right corner of the Onyx baguette on the lower right hand side.  The mark is small enough that we have decided to leave the original stone in place.  The mark is so small that is better to leave the original hand cut stone as it is. 6 French cut Onyx baguettes approx. total weight .18cts.  Tested:  14k Platinum top and Platinum chain.  10.3 grams.  1 1/8 x ¾ inch.  Chain stamped Platinum.                     We know it is scary out there.
