The new Blue Bird turquoise mine in Nevada is producing some simply stunningly handsome stones whose color is quite similar though typically somewhat lighter than classic (and valuable) M*o*r*e*n*c*i turquoise. It's not the least bit of an exaggeration to say that these four stones are simply breathtaking with their pale sky blue color, darker blue veins and pale yellow matrix. This is one of these massive gentlemen's watches that rarely comes along so if you can't talk your significant other into giving this to you, then do what I do to assure that I get at least one gift of something I actually want over the holidays: buy it for yourself. With sterling silver prices going through roof, you're not only investing in fine Native American art jewelry but precious metal as well. These four natural stones are so large that any of them could be used to make a large bracelet! From left to right, the stones measure 1 and 15/16ths" by 7/8ths" and 1 and 7/16ths" by 1 and 1/16th," and the two on the right are 1½" by a hair kore than 1" and 1¼" by 1." The artist added several various sized hand made rain drop bead overlays between each stone and the watch movement tabs and sterling silver twisted rope overlays around the stone channels. The edges along the stone channel are notched and deeply engraved with cloud designs. The watch bracelet is 1 and 5/8ths" wide in the center and then tapers outward to a maximum width of 2" in width on both sides on the watch movement. The remainder of the bracelet then tapers to a substantial width of 1 and 13/16ths" at both terminals. It has an inside measurement of 6¼" with an extremely minimally adjustable opening gap of 1 and 3/8ths." If your wrist is 7½" to no more than 7¾" in circumference, this should fit with ultra careful adjustment of the terminals. The reliable silver tone quartz movement is recessed and attached to underneath the two sterling silver eagle feather fan arrays tabs on both sides. Its back is stainless steel. The watch movement features a white mother of pearl face, three silver tone hands, and italicized black numbers at each hour mark. It runs on a complimentary pre-installed standard sized watch battery that's available world wide when it needs replacement.
