The outer leather is intact and all stitching secure although the leather has picked up odd surface rubs and blemishes throughout from both use and storage. The outer leather also displays a couple of thin pen lines or scribbles; one to the rear that is quite noticeable and dark with a further two to the top that have faded. The handles shows a little creasing and wear from use and I can see a small area of superficial cracking to the triangular zipper tab. The zipper runs smoothly along its length and the zipper material is in god order. The interior velvet lining and pillows remain intact although display signs of general use with no obvious marks or stains. The hook to one of the pillows has been cut as photographed and there is also a little damage to the leather rim along the inner seam where it has pealed away at one end.
