Get Vendio Gallery - Now FREE! scubacimbre Store Huge~Navajo~BEN LIVINGSTON~Fetish Necklace & Earrings This magnificent, work of art was done by Navajo lapidartist/fetish carver, Ben Livingston.  You may familiar with his work from his turquoise, eagle necklaces I have sold.  This is a unique a fetish beacuse each piece is intricately carved in a 3-dimensional, 3 character piece.  The images are of a Native American, an eagle, buffalo, bear and a mountain sheep.  This piece is all Kingman turquoise and black jet.  Each carving is approximately 2" by 1 1/2".  The necklace is approximately 34" long.  Since there is no clasp, I measured as if it were laid out flat.  It easily slips over the head.  It weighs 316 grams and has over one thousand carats of turquoise.  It is strung with havy guage silver wire with turquoise heishi.  The earrings measure 2" by 3/4" (with posts).  They weigh 9 grams together.  The posts are sterling.  I can`t think of a more incredible fetish necklace.  Don`t miss out on this rare, prized piece.  A fabulous addition to a collection.  I will discount shipping on multiple purchases.  Good luck and thanks for shopping Scubacimbre!! ATTENTION~Look for new, great items every Thursday evening.  Watch for more great carvings by Fransisco Gomez.  To keep track of all my items, save me in your favorites that way you won`t miss anything. To accent the carving on some pieces, Mr. Gomez will rub a little paint to show lines such as hair or face features it is not to misinterpreted as matrix or falsifying the item. He does this to some pieces not all. Please do not put turquoise in a jewelers or ultra sonic cleaner or buff the turquoise. You may damage stone and carving.
